I know I said I would be more focused during my skate sessions, but honestly, I have trouble drilling the same thing for the full hour. In fact, my muscles get tired, and my moves get sloppier, and then I wonder if I am getting into the territory of forming bad habits.
I’ve found it more beneficial to drill a few spins, and then loosen up the muscles by drilling transitions, disco spins, spread eagles, and some dance moves.
My spins have been getting more consistent, but there comes a moment in spin practice, where suddenly my body forgets how to spin. I might throw my body into it too much, and my toe foot spirals out. But overall, I’d like to think that I am getting steadier. I did purchase access to StormSkater‘s spin tutorials, and I’m excited to drill them!
Some new firsts:

Slowly but surely, I’m building my skate vocabulary!
