I didn’t feel like making my way downstairs to the rec room, and my husband and I decided to go on bike rides around Central Park, so I did quick 30 min sessions in my apartment on these days while watching TV (watched a lot of Mission Impossible this weekend–hangover from watching Top Gun Maverick which was fantastic).
I feel like I’m making slow progress on strutting, although I am still trying to unlock the skill of strutting in place and controlling the pace of my strut. It’s hard to feel comfortable strutting in my apartment where I feel like I could fall into all the tight corners and topple the TV or the bookshelf and scarying my dogs!
I also worked on dribbling some more, but again, as with strutting, I’m finding it really hard to control the pace and my balance as I switch my legs. I liked Dee Dellimore’s tutorial here as she introduced the concept of shifting the weight from the hips. I kinda get it, I think, but it is taking some time to unlock this skill.
Spinning – I’ve just been spinning when I can, and I was able to unlock 2 rotations! Never captured it on camera though.
Coming soon!
